Comfortaire’s customer service is spectacular. I once had to replace an air chamber when it developed a slow leak, and the replacement was rushed right out within a couple of days. Couldn't have been easier and the support staff was friendly and very helpful. My first airbed was a Select Comfort, and while it was more comfortable than a spring type mattress, there is a tremendous difference in quality between the Select Comfort and the Comfortaire. The Comfortaire is much better supported and the thicker padding in the pillow-top makes for a more luxurious bed. The stitching is better on the cover. The foam is thicker. It also costs less, although I noticed it's catching up a bit from when I purchased my first bed years ago. The main issue with the Select Comfort bed is the very flimsy foam divider that runs down the center of the king size bed. It doesn't really maintain their positions if your partner sleeps with a softer mattress than you do. Basically, you'll spend the entire night trying to keep from rolling over into the crack between the chambers. I had to unwedge myself on a regular basis, and that doesn't make for a good night's sleep. If you are trying to decide between the two, by all means, go with the Comfortaire!

I purchased my Comfortaire bed in 2008, I had a few problems with the foam topper, I can't say enough about customer service and how cooperative they have been in taking care of the problem. I recently had a problem with my pump and called customer service and again they helped me and are sending a new pump. I have not dealt with a company with such excellent customer service in a very long time. We have been so happy with our bed and Comfortaire's customer service that we bought a second bed for our guest room.
Every now and then I like to do a follow-up with people with whom I have done business, sometimes it is to complain, other times it is because I am satisfied. I wanted to let you know that I am extremely happy with my purchase. The bed I received from you has provided my wife and I with great night sleep. I am very pleased that we did business with you. After a couple of initial operation problems/questions, we are very pleased with our Comfortaire mattress. It works well, lets us set the desired level of firmness and does give us a comfortable nights sleep.

I just wanted to give you an update. I wanted to wait awhile, I had to get used to the way the bed works. The settings are a bit strange to get comfortable with, the "meter" showing the pressure fluctuates a lot. My memory settings don't always get to the right percentages, seldom with one touch. However, after adjusting and setting, the bed seems to be doing what it is supposed to do. And yes, it is probably the most comfortable bed I have ever owned. I love it! My wife is still playing around with her settings, but I am sure she will figure out what works best for her. I do at times think that the pressure decreases at night. I don't know that for certain. Overall, I am VERY satisfied with the bed, and I do enjoy more than a "modicum" of relief throughout the night. Thank-you again for your care and service. All of my doubts and complaints have been addressed and set aside. You were MOST helpful and considerate. You are a credit to your sales team, thank-you so much for your help. The mattress protector came, and I appreciate you sending it.
